STAFF TRAINING MOBILITY ANNOUNCEMENT

ANNOUNCEMENT DATE: OCTOBER 10th, 2023

 

This is an application announcement for staff mobility carried out by Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo with institutions in partner countries other than the European Union member countries included in the Erasmus+ Program.

KA171 ICM projects, which enable student and staff mobility with countries around the world other than the member countries of the European Union, are mobility projects carried out on a department or faculty basis, projected every year, and also known as “International Credit Mobility.”

 

  1. DEFINITIONS

 

– Staff Training Mobility: It is the field of activity that allows a staff member working in higher education institutions to get seminars and/or changes the experiences at the contracted higher education institution in partner countries.

– The duration of the activity for staff training mobility is at least five consecutive days excluding travel.

– In the Staff Mobility for Training – Mobility Agreement, the teaching program must be specified on a day-by-day basis.

Applications will be considered from November 10th to December 10th, 2023, once the respective form is filled and documents are uploaded at the following dedicated link

  1. EVALUATION AND SELECTION

 

Since the KA171 program is carried out on a departmental basis, only Fashion Design Department staff can apply for the specified quotas. Quota is for one staff member for outgoing to Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU)  Eskişehir Teknik Üniversitesi – Anasayfa (eskisehir.edu.tr), located in the city of Eskişehir, Turkey. Eskişehir Technical University consists of 5 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools, 1 School and 3 Institutions and 6 Research and Application Centers in 3 campuses located in the center of Eskişehir, which is a city of science, culture and youth.

Selection and placement among the applicants will be based on the total success score, considering the following evaluation criteria. All personnel placed within the quotas will be supported with grants (individual support + travel support). If the total success score is equal, the staff with more years of service at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo Fashion Department will be prioritized.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA POINTS
1.       Base Point: + 30
2.       Foreign Languague Examination Score: Foreign language score  (%20 added to base score)

(does not prevent the application for Staff Mobility for Training, but those who do not have a foreign language score cannot get points from this criteria)

3.         Participating in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program:

  • 10 points are added to the base score of the candidate who benefits from the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for the first time.

 

  • 5 points are taken from the candidate’s base score participating in one of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programs with a grant in the previous application periods (for each application period)

4.       Status of the host institution or the country :

  • 5 points are added to the base score of the candidate who goes to a country or university where Staff Mobility has not been carried out before.

5.       Contribution to the execution of the Erasmus+ Program:

  • 5 points are added to the base score of the candidate who is Erasmus+ Departmental Coordinator/Assistant Departmental Coordinator.

 

  • 5 points are added to the base score of the candidate who took part in the writing process of the KA171 project.

 

  • For each agreement, 2.5 points are added to the base score of the candidate who mediates the mutual bilateral agreement between Eskişehir Technical University and his/her own university.

 

  • For each student, 2.5 points are added to the base score of the candidate acting as an intermediary for the students coming to Eskişehir Technical University within the scope of Erasmus.

 

(Each KA171 project is evaluated only once. All staff involved in the same project are given the same score within the scope of this criterion.

6.       Status of  the staff:

  • 10 points are added to the base score of the Administrative Staff.

7.       For staff with special circumstances:

  • 5 points are added to the base score of the disabled staff (provided that they are documented).

8.       Status of taking part in an Erasmus project other than KA171:

 

  • 10 points are added to the base score of the candidate who has worked or is still working as a coordinator in an Erasmus+ project other than  KA 171 in the last three years, including the academic year in which the application was made.

 

(Each international research project is evaluated only once. All staff involved in the same project are given the same score under this criterion.)

10.   Status of the staff who renounces his/her right to be part of the Exchange program:

 

  • If the candidate is entitled to benefit from the Staff Mobility Program in the previous application periods, but without giving any reason, the candidate renounces this right after the deadline specified in the calendar, 20 points are taken from the candidate’s base score in the next application period.

  1. GRANT SUPPORT

 

 140 Euro x day + Travel support (820 euro)

The amount of travel expenses to be paid to the staff benefiting from the staff mobility activity should be calculated using the “Distance Calculator.”

A distance calculator should be used to calculate the distance between the two points from the place of residence of the staff member to the place of activity. The travel grant should be calculated using the table below. The grant equivalent of the mileage calculated in the distance calculator in the table below is the round-trip figure and this amount is not multiplied by two. If the staff member travels with a stopover, it does not affect the distance reached by the above-mentioned distance calculation.
